These terms govern your use of Web by Lods.AI ("we", "us", "Lods.AI Web") — a Lods.AI service that builds and hosts per-business websites for Filipino small businesses. By visiting web.lods.ai, using any per-business site we host (e.g. web.lods.ai/your-clinic/), interacting with our Facebook Page (Web by Lods.AI) or Messenger chatbot, you accept these terms.
1. What we provide
Free demo websites. We may build a personalized preview site for any business with a public Google Business or Facebook Page listing. We use only publicly available information (photos, hours, services, reviews). There is no obligation to purchase.
Paid websites. Once you confirm onboarding and pay (Basic ₱8,500 setup + ₱500/mo from Year 2, or Pro Business Suite ₱15,000 setup + ₱1,500/mo from Year 2, or alternative tiers as published), we deliver the site within 5 days, host it under web.lods.ai/your-slug/ (or a custom domain if you've purchased that add-on), and provide ongoing maintenance per your tier.
Chatbot replies. Our Facebook Messenger bot and the chat widget on demo sites respond to questions about our service or your biz (depending on context). Replies are generated by AI and are best-effort — for binding quotes, ask the operator directly.
2. Your responsibilities
Provide accurate business information when onboarding (legal name, registered address, contact phone, FB Page link).
You own and warrant the rights to any photos, text, or content you submit. We won't use stock images, but we will use whatever you give us or scrape from your public Google/FB pages.
You may not use our services to: (a) promote illegal goods/services, (b) impersonate another business, (c) spam users on the contact forms we host for you, (d) scrape or copy content from other Lods.AI customers' sites.
You agree to keep your payment current. We may suspend your site after 14 days of overdue payment, with a 7-day grace warning by SMS + email.
3. Payment terms
All prices in Philippine Pesos (₱). Payment via GCash (one-shot or 12-month installment), Maya, bank transfer, or — when launched — PayMongo for cards.
Setup fees are non-refundable once we begin building (typically within 24 hours of confirmation).
Monthly hosting fees are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel anytime; we'll keep your site live through the end of the paid month.
If you cancel within 30 days of go-live and you've paid setup, we refund 50% of the setup fee. After 30 days, no setup refund.
Domain add-on (yourbiz.com) is annual and non-refundable once registered — the registrar charges us upfront and we pass the cost through at-cost.
4. Intellectual property
Your content is yours. Photos, text, business info you provide remain your property. You grant us a license to use it to build, host, and operate your website during the life of your subscription.
Our work is ours, licensed to you. The website code, design, components, and AI bot we build for you are licensed for your use as long as you're a paying customer. On cancellation, the license terminates — we don't transfer the source code as a standalone deliverable.
You can export your content anytime. Email hello@lods.ai and we'll ship you a ZIP of every photo, FAQ, and customer-facing text within 14 days. Code itself is not exported under standard terms (it's our framework).
Lods.AI branding appears in a footer on every site we host ("Powered by Lods.AI"). You may purchase white-label removal as a future add-on; not currently available in the published tiers.
5. Limits of liability
Web by Lods.AI is provided "as is" without warranty of uptime, accuracy of AI-generated content, or fitness for any particular purpose. We aim for 99.5%+ uptime but make no guarantee. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for:
Decisions you make based on AI-generated chatbot replies (always confirm with a human for binding matters)
Loss of business, leads, or revenue due to outages, third-party platform changes (Meta, Google), or factors outside our control
Content you or your visitors post on your hosted site (you're responsible for moderation)
6. AI chatbot specifics
Our chatbot is automated. It is not a licensed medical, legal, dental, or veterinary professional — it cannot give medical/legal/dental/vet advice. For appointment-related questions on a clinic's site, the bot collects intent and routes to the clinic's staff for confirmation.
AI-generated replies may occasionally contain errors. For binding information (price quotes, appointment confirmation), always confirm via SMS or email with the human operator.
We log Messenger conversations for 12 months for operator review + service improvement. See Privacy Policy for details.
7. Termination
You may cancel anytime by emailing hello@lods.ai or messaging our FB Page. Effective end of current paid month.
We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, fail to pay, or use the service for illegal/harmful activity. We'll notify you and provide 7 days to cure where possible.
On termination, your hosted site is taken down within 7 days. Your content is exported on request within 14 days.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page and emailed to current customers at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after an update means acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines.
Web by Lods.AI is a service of Athena Management, a registered business based in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Contracts entered with us are with Athena Management as the legal entity.
